God of Creation

John 17:1-5 (NLT) Jesus looked up to heaven and said, “Father, the hour has come. Glorify your Son so he can give glory back to you. For you have given him authority over everyone. He gives eternal life to each one you have given him. And this is the way to have eternal life—to know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, the one you sent to earth. I brought glory to you here on earth by completing the work you gave me to do. Now, Father, bring me into the glory we shared before the world began.

Isn't it amazing to think how Jesus was always there - in the beginning, on the earth and even now. When Jesus finished His work on the earth He was ready to return to His Father. He wanted to share in the glory from before the world began - it's just mind blowing really. As humans we live by time and work with time and use time to measure many things yet God exists outside of time. I love the wonder and awe of God - looking at the expanse of what we can see in our universe and knowing He created it all yet still has "time" for me…

Psalm 33:6 (NLT) The Lord merely spoke, and the heavens were created. He breathed the word, and all the stars were born.

Psalm 19:1-5 (TPT) God’s splendor is a tale that is told; his testament is written in the stars. Space itself speaks his story every day through the marvels of the heavens. His truth is on tour in the starry vault of the sky, showing his skill in creation’s craftsmanship. Each day gushes out its message to the next, night with night whispering its knowledge to all. Without a sound, without a word, without a voice being heard, Yet all the world can see its story. Everywhere its gospel is clearly read so all may know.

May we always remember to look at God's creation with such majestic wonder. God is so big and so mighty that we can easily see Him and His heart in everything that He has made. God is love and if we choose to seek Him we will continue to see His love in all He has done - 100 billion times!
