Whose Report Will You Believe?

I get so frustrated when I minister to people who have decided to turn their backs on God due to their circumstances.
We all come to Jesus as hopeless sinners. As we repent and accept Him into our hearts as our Lord and Savior, we are miraculously transformed into a child of God, redeemed by His amazing grace, and set free of the bondage of sin. The price that was paid in the exchange of our depravity for eternal life and the abundant existence that comes with a relationship with our Creator and His subsequent peace, love and provision is beyond our comprehension. The life of the Son of God for our filth and shame…unimaginable.
Then the enemy comes in…he begins to orchestrate negative scenarios and speaks lies that have been freshly designed to disillusion us. If his tactics are effective enough, many become drawn away from their only source of freedom, power, peace and love to the very one who’s schemes are destroying their lives. What they do not realize is that by agreeing with the devil about their situation and even the existence of God or His love for them, they are unwittingly forming an alliance with the one that has devised a complex plan for their destruction. Don't fall into this trap!
Jesus is not your enemy, and your creator did not form you for pain and defeat. Yes, we live in a fallen world and life has many ups, downs, twists, and turns but if you'll continue to trust the Lord, He'll give you peace through it all and eventually a testimony of His goodness. Hang on and don't give up!
There's absolutely no hope in the alternative. Read your Bible and get to know the God you serve, then you'll never doubt His goodness and love for you! So, in the midst of the trial, whose report will you believe? Trust the one who gave His life for you!
John 10:9-11 (KJV) I am the door. If anyone enters by Me, he will be saved and will go in and out and find pasture. The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly. “I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd gives His life for the sheep."
Jeremiah 29:11 (NLT) "For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope."
Isaiah 53:1 (KJV) Who hath believed our report? and to whom is the arm of the Lord revealed?
Isaiah 53:3-9 (NLT) To whom has the Lord revealed his powerful arm? He was despised and rejected—a man of sorrows, acquainted with deepest grief. We turned our backs on Him and looked the other way. He was despised, and we did not care. Yet it was our weaknesses He carried; it was our sorrows that weighed Him down. And we thought His troubles were a punishment from God, a punishment for His own sins! But He was pierced for our rebellion, crushed for our sins. He was beaten so we could be whole. He was whipped so we could be healed. All of us, like sheep, have strayed away. We have left God’s paths to follow our own. Yet the Lord laid on Him the sins of us all. He was oppressed and treated harshly, yet He never said a word. He was led like a lamb to the slaughter. And as a sheep is silent before the shearers, He did not open his mouth. Unjustly condemned, He was led away No one cared that He died without descendants, that His life was cut short in midstream. But He was struck down for the rebellion of my people. He had done no wrong and had never deceived anyone. But He was buried like a criminal; He was put in a rich man’s grave.
