The Largest Duck on the Pond

As I sit here enjoying the view and watching as wild ducks and cranes come and go, I'm reminded of the regular ducks we had on the pond behind our last house. It started out with 5 ducks. There was a small brown one, a black one and a white one who were friends and another group with a white one and a black one. The three terrorized the other two. 

It was painful to watch as the little brown duck never gave the black and white one a moments peace and his two cohorts would always follow in the attack. The sad part was, the other two were much larger than the brown one and were even larger than all three but they never realized that they had more power than their enemy. They lived in constant fear and could never enjoy a simple swim around the pond. Even sadder, they never fought back as they were chased, bitten and eventually the white one was drowned by the others while her large friend ran in fear...

Hmmm... You think there might be a life lesson in this??

How often is the Body of Christ intimidated by the enemy? His subtle lies are often screamed in our faces but even when they are nothing but a whisper, those thoughts soon become our perceived reality, and fear begins to take center stage. His lies our often based on truth, that's what empowers them. You feel a pain, Google it, and see 12 possible causes and you take the bait. Your attention is now turned from God and the enemy has your full attention. It's just that simple! Agreeing with his lies then opens the door for his full-on attack! 

There was price paid for our freedom from the effects of sin. Power and authority over ALL the power of the enemy belongs to us... yet the keys to it are often given to the enemy... just as Adam and Eve once did. If we believe he is greater than the one who abides within us, then the battle is lost before it's ever fought!

The church must take back her authority and realize the enemy is a defeated foe! We have the power of the Holy Spirit within us, the blood that paid the greatest price to deliver us from the grip of Satan and the stripes that gave us victory over sickness and disease!! He even gave us a tithe covenant that provides for our needs! It has all been taken care of! 

YOU with JESUS are bigger than anything the enemy can throw at you! Find scriptures that apply to your current situation and use them in your battle plan! Remain focused on HIM even when all hell is breaking out against you and don't forget to worship! I've won the greatest battles as my focus remained intact and all glory was given to God for the victory even before it was manifested. 

Realize you are the largest duck in the pond and stop allowing the enemy to intimidate you!

Luke 10:19 (KJV) Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.

Matthew 10:8 (KJV) Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils: freely ye have received, freely give.

Isaiah 53:4-5 (AMP) But [in fact] He has borne our griefs, And He has carried our sorrows and pains;

Yet we [ignorantly] assumed that He was stricken, Struck down by God and degraded and humiliated [by Him]. But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was crushed for our wickedness [our sin, our injustice, our wrongdoing]; The punishment [required] for our well-being fell on Him, And by His stripes (wounds) we are healed.

Matthew 16:17-18 (KJV) And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.
