Position Yourself

2 Chronicles 20:17 (NKJV) You will not need to fight in this battle. Position yourselves, stand still and see the salvation of the Lord, who is with you, O Judah and Jerusalem!’ Do not fear or be dismayed; tomorrow go out against them, for the Lord is with you.”

In the days we are living in there is a relentless attack on our time and attention. It can come in so many forms. What I'm hearing most often lately is the attacks of the enemy that are destroying hope and wreaking havoc in families, relationships, finances, and health. These are diversions sent to captivate our attention, bring hopelessness, and remove focus from Jesus. If you realize that this scenario is designed by the enemy for your destruction and allowed by God to draw you closer to Him, you'll choose to chase after Him instead of focusing on the negative that's leading you further away... down a path of pain and despair.

No matter where you are in your relationship with Jesus, there's always more of His glory to experience, more growth to be had and greater power to see lives touched and changed for God's Kingdom. Complacency and comfort lead to fruitless mediocrity. You were designed for so much more! The ultimate price was paid for your salvation, victory, healing, peace, power, and authority!! Allow both the blessing and the trial to lead you to desperation for His presence and uninhibited praise! As you praise, worship, and adore Him in every situation, the walls will fall, and the opposition will be destroyed... I know I've said this many times before, but you'll find that even in the midst of your darkest hour and greatest trial you'll experience incredible peace while you're waiting for His deliverance to be manifested! It's all a matter of position... are you soaring above the clouds on wings as eagles or are you bowed before an evil captive, thinking his thoughts, and experiencing his intended torment?

Choose Jesus! Allow the trial to chase you into His arms of love and comfort! That's where you'll find your peace and deliverance! Your trial is a set up for a testimony if your eyes and heart remain steadfast on Him! Do not deviate from a position of faith in His Word and trust that His promises are always yes and amen!!

Isaiah 40:31 (KJV) But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.

Colossians 3:5 (NKJV) Therefore put to death your members which are on the earth: fornication, uncleanness, passion, evil desire, and covetousness, which is idolatry.

1 Peter 5:8 (AMP) Be sober [well balanced and self-disciplined], be alert and cautious at all times. That enemy of yours, the devil, prowls around like a roaring lion [fiercely hungry], seeking someone to devour.

Numbers 23:19 (NLT) God is not a man, so he does not lie. He is not human, so he does not change his mind. Has he ever spoken and failed to act? Has he ever promised and not carried it through?

2 Corinthians 1:20 (NKJV) For all the promises of God in Him are Yes, and in Him Amen, to the glory of God through us.
