It's Time to Stop Playing Church!

The days of people filling churches that pride themselves of being primarily seeker-friendly yet void of the power and presence of God are over! It's a new season and people are tired of wasting their time in social clubs, remaining unchanged and ineffective for God's Kingdom. It's over!! God is calling His Bride to intimacy. Christianity without relationship is a farce. It's a new day! It's time we allow the Holy Spirit to convict His people, I didn't say condemnation, I'm talking about a deep heart-felt conviction that brings about repentance and change!

I thank God for churches like ours who have pastors who aren't afraid to preach the truth and allow the Holy Spirit to have His way! Religion and Sunday clubs won't change lives, but the uncompromising Word of God, boldly preached with love and compassion, anointed by the Holy Ghost will! The altars in most churches have been empty for far too long! It's time for repentance and holiness and it must be taught from the pulpits!

Sin is still sin...God has not changed His stance on that.... but there's a blood...a pure shed blood that washed away all our sins and has the power to change the darkest and hardest heart!

The power of the shed blood of Jesus... the blood that's repulsive to some is life changing to others. Have you heard about it lately? Have you heard about a hell whose gates are wide open and the multitudes are falling into it's pit? It must be taught, they must be warned. It's not only the church, but as Christians we must begin to walk in the relationship we were designed to have with Jesus, we must seek holiness, be filled with His Spirit, and begin to open our mouths and warn people of their future without Christ.

If you've lived your life as a lukewarm Christian, content with just knowing about Jesus, yet you've never taken the time to develop an intimate relationship with Him, there's still time! Today is the day! Clear your schedule to study the truth in His Word and seek His face! Not His hands of blessing, but just look deeply into His eyes of love, earnestly repent, surrender everything and admit that you just can't make it without Him. He is waiting to ravish you in His love, surround you with His glory and baptize you in His Spirit!

Let's stop playing church for conscience sake and begin to take up your cross and fulfill your destiny! IT'S TIME!

Matthew 16:24 (ESV) Then Jesus told his disciples, “If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross and follow me. For whoever would save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for my sake will find it. For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world and forfeits his soul? Or what shall a man give in return for his soul?"

2 Timothy 4:3 (NLT) For a time is coming when people will no longer listen to sound and wholesome teaching. They will follow their own desires and will look for teachers who will tell them whatever their itching ears want to hear.

Proverbs 18:10 (KJV) The name of the Lord is a strong tower: the righteous runneth into it, and is safe.

2 Timothy 3:16 (NLT) All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right.

Ephesians 1:7 (NLT)) He is so rich in kindness and grace that he purchased our freedom with the blood of his Son and forgave our sins.

Revelations 3:16 (NKJV) So then, because you are lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will vomit you out of My mouth.
