He Cares!

ree

1 Peter 5:7 (NLT) Give all your worries and cares to God, for He cares about you.

I write a lot about coming to Jesus with no ulterior motive. Entering His presence for the sole purpose of praising, worshipping, and enjoying time with Him, should be an essential part of our relationship. I get concerned when the only interaction Christians have with Him is expressing their desires for things and they begin to treat the Lord like a genie in a bottle. That being said, God does desire to take care of His children. He has no issue with you coming to Him with your problems, needs, and even desires as long as those things don't become more important than your relationship with Him.

He knew there would be obstacles and trials in this life, situations that would arise that would be too great and painful for us to handle. He loves it when we admit we can't do it on our own and desperately need His help, healing, and comfort.

Though we try hard to raise our children to be independent from us, that's not His desire for His children. He wants us to depend on Him in every area of our lives. Yes, we have our part to play in developing our relationship with Him and studying His Word, but that is the path to greater surrender and trust in Him. We can't give ourselves completely to someone who we don't truly know.

Spend some time getting to know your Savior, and you'll find that He can be trusted and cares about every detail of your life. All your problems, pain, fatigue, and anxiety can be given to Him... He's truly big enough to handle it and He loves you enough to want to take care of you! Just breathe... focus on Jesus... share your heart and turn it all over to Him! Others may fail you, but He can always be trusted!

Proverbs 3:5-6 (NLT) Trust in the Lord with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding. Seek His will in all you do, and He will show you which path to take.

Joshua 1:9 (NKJV) Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.”

Isaiah 41:10 (NLT) Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be discouraged, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will hold you up with my victorious right hand.
