God is Not Against You
Do you realize just how much you are loved? As I minister to people, it's sad to hear so many who feel completely unworthy of the love of God and sacrifice that was paid. Well... let's start out by making one thing clear, we are all unworthy of such an incredible sacrifice! The fact remains, Jesus, the Son of God willingly gave His life for YOU!
One of the enemy's greatest tools for stifling the growth and usefulness of God's children is to continually point out their failures and compare them to others who seemingly have it all together. You may think you're different and you could never be used to fulfill anything of worth. That couldn't be further from the truth. Yes, you are unique and that's what makes you so valuable for God's Kingdom. No one has been where you've been, made the mistakes you've made and experienced what you've experienced. All of that has formed within you a specific purpose that only you can fulfill. No, It's not based on your abilities or strengths, but nothing is wasted with God and He'll use all of it to touch and change lives. He will use you in ways you never imagined. In order to believe that you must first believe you are loved... so loved...
When God first called me to write devotions, there were those that mocked my inability to spell properly, and my poor grammar. I had every excuse to quit and believe me I was tempted but doing God's will, just can't be optional.
Regardless of how big of a failure you may think you are, if you continue to trust Him and follow His will one step at a time, He'll anoint you to do the things you never thought you could do, and you can never take the credit... because you know the truth... He can touch lives through you despite your lack of skills... your not enough in exchange for His more than enough! Trust Him and chase hard after Him. There's such fulfillment in seeking and serving Jesus! He's everything and He's not against you! He's just waiting for you to turn around and run into His arms in full surrender! He'll take care of the rest!
Romans 8:30-39 (KJV) Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified. What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us? He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things? Who shall lay anything to the charge of God's elect? It is God that justifieth. Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us. Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter. Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us. For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Philippians 1:6 (KJV) Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:
