For Such a Time as This
In my time in prayer last tonight, I asked God to lead me to write what's on His heart concerning His children. All I heard was deeper depths. He's calling us into deeper intimacy, a broader understanding of His love and a revelation of our purpose in the midst of a world filled with unimaginable change and uncertainty.
Unfortunately, many of His children just don't understand how loved and necessary they are. You have an incredible purpose. No one else can fill the place in God's army that He has designed specifically for you! It's easy to get careless with the time we've been given on this earth. It's often spent fulfilling our own plans and day to day routine, all the while forgetting that we were born for so much more. And created FOR SUCH A TIME AS THIS!
It's not a coincidence that you were born in the age of Corona Viruses, isolation, rioting, anger and chaos. God has placed something within you that's needed in this end time season. Something that the world has never seen because it's unique to your upbringing, experiences, heartache, pain and accomplishments. Everything that life has thrown at you is molding you into the priceless jewel that you are becoming as you lay both your rewards and failures at the foot of the cross and allow God to take the ashes of your life and shape them into something beautiful and of great worth!
Stop looking at your failures and abilities because the enemy will always magnify your weaknesses. Read your Bible and begin to realize that what God desires to do in and through you, has absolutely nothing to do with how talented or gifted you are. The only responsibility you have in becoming all that He's called you to be, is to humbly admit that you are incapable of accomplishing anything without His power and anointing operating in and through you!
Stop trying to make things happen and failing miserably. You can only fulfill your calling as you give up control, seek His face and surrender your life to Him. The truth is...it never was yours in the first place...
As you begin to step into His plan for your life, you'll realize it was the only place of true fulfillment...it's what you've been missing and searching for all along. Yes! You were created for a specific purpose and born for SUCH A TIME AS THIS! Enter deeper into His presence and find out just what that means for your life.
Psalm 57:2 (NLT) I cry out to God Most High, to God who will fulfill His purpose for me.
Esther 4:14 (NKJV) For if you remain completely silent at this time, relief and deliverance will arise for the Jews from another place, but you and your father’s house will perish. Yet who knows whether you have come to the kingdom for such a time as this?”
Isaiah 61:1-3 (NKJV) “The Spirit of the Lord God is upon Me, Because the Lord has anointed Me To preach good tidings to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to those who are bound; To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord, and the day of vengeance of our God; To comfort all who mourn, to console those who mourn in Zion, to give them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; That they may be called trees of righteousness, The planting of the Lord, that He may be glorified.”
