Desperate for Jesus
Do you know what it means to be desperate for Jesus? I'm not talking about having a desperate need, but a burning desire to know Him more intimately? I'm so hungry!! I can't stop weeping, I need Him... if I could only break free of the limitations of this flesh and experience more of His presence, hear His voice more clearly and His touch more acutely. It's a Holy desperation...a yearning...an agony within my soul!
I've experienced the fire of His presence, though my perception is limited...I have experienced Him in such a way that I can't be satisfied unless I'm continually moving forward... going deeper into uncharted territories of His Spirit. I NEED JESUS!! I'm tired of life as normal! I'm tired of my routine! I'm fed up with mediocrity! I know the possibilities and I must apprehend all that He desires for my life! The dead raised, the sick healed, broken lives restored, anointed to break every yoke of bondage for HIS glory!
We can't fully do His work without KNOWING Him, hearing His voice and being fully wrecked in His presence. There's a world to win for Christ and it will only be transformed as His bride gets fully equipped in The Secret Place of His amazing presence... it's a hiding place from the attacks and diversions of the enemy... it's where we are filled and fully equipped to do His will. Yes, it's a secret...it's where you hide away and block out the distractions of the world and prioritize your time for your private union with your King. It's where the fiery darts of the enemy have no power to penetrate and it's where you find peace and rest for your soul.
If you're not spending intimate time pursuing Him with all that's within you then you're missing out on the greatest part of your existence... your joy, peace, love and purpose can be found in a place that few have ventured to enter…
I LOVE YOU JESUS!!! You mean everything to me! There's nothing in this life that matters more!
So how does my time with Jesus end this evening? Weeping, travailing and laughing with pure joy and ecstasy! Intoxicated by His presence! Seek Him with all that's within you! He never disappoints!
Psalm 84:2 (NKJV) My soul longs, yes, even faints for the courts of the Lord; My heart and my flesh cry out for the living God.
Jeremiah 29:11-13 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope. Then you will call upon Me and go and pray to Me, and I will listen to you. And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart.
Acts 2:15-17 (NKJV) For these are not drunk, as you suppose, since it is only the third hour of the day. But this is what was spoken by the prophet Joel: And it shall come to pass in the last days, says God, that I will pour out of My Spirit on all flesh; Your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, Your young men shall see visions, Your old men shall dream dreams.
Psalm 63:1-8 (NKJV) O God, You are my God; Early will I seek You; My soul thirsts for You; My flesh longs for You In a dry and thirsty land where there is no water. So I have looked for You in the sanctuary, to see Your power and Your glory. Because Your loving kindness is better than life, my lips shall praise You.
