Spiritual Insecurity
Luke 5:8 (NKJV) When Simon Peter saw it, he fell down at Jesus’ knees, saying, “Depart from me, for I am a sinful man, O Lord!”
I believe the reason a lot of people are not walking in the fullness that God has for their lives and they don't have an intimate relationship with Jesus, isn't because they don't care or don't want it. I don't even think it's a lack of faith in God or His power to change lives. A lot of people have a poor self image and a lack of faith in themselves. What I mean by that is, they don't see themselves as Christ sees them. They measure God's love for them based on how deserving they feel and they only approach the throne room to the degree they think God would allow them to come.
What we need to realize is not one of us could ever be good enough to deserve the sacrifices Jesus has made, nor do we deserve the right to enter boldly into His throne room! When we receive Christ as our Lord and Savior, it's no longer our sin, weakness and failures that He sees, but the shed blood of His son and that's what make us righteous!
The Word says that He is not a respecter of persons. That means He doesn't value one more than another. What He's done for me, He desires to do for you. Though our callings and giftings may be different, one is not more important than the other.
What I feel He wants me to relay to you today is just how much He loves you and desires fellowship with you. Jesus wants to bless you with everything He has paid for on the cross and promised in His Word, but even more than that, He wants you!! He loves you so much He's beckoning you to come into His presence, so He can shower you with His mercy and love! You are beautiful, unique and incredibly delightful to your King. He has created none other like you and no one can do what He's called YOU to do! God doesn't make mistakes! He created you for a purpose and it starts with spending time with Him! As you flourish in the throne room, He will give you the strength, security, ability and direction you need!
If You feel your sin has separated you from God, repent and accept the gift of His healing balm of righteousness, purity, redemption and love. There’s such freedom and security in knowing we are forgiven and absolutely loved!
1 Corinthians 1:30 (NKJV) But of Him you are in Christ Jesus, who became for us wisdom from God—and righteousness and sanctification and redemption.
Romans 3:22-26 (NLT) We are made right with God by placing our faith in Jesus Christ. And this is true for everyone who believes, no matter who we are. For everyone has sinned; we all fall short of God’s glorious standard. Yet God, in His grace, freely makes us right in His sight. He did this through Christ Jesus when He freed us from the penalty for our sins. For God presented Jesus as the sacrifice for sin. People are made right with God when they believe that Jesus sacrificed His life, shedding His blood. This sacrifice shows that God was being fair when He held back and did not punish those who sinned in times past, for He was looking ahead and including them in what He would do in this present time. God did this to demonstrate His righteousness, for He Himself is fair and just, and He makes sinners right in His sight when they believe in Jesus.
