What's Faith?

What is faith?

It's trusting in the unseen and believing our God ALWAYS keeps His promises.

It's being so madly in love with our Saviour that we know He desires the best for us and regardless of how the process feels or may look we know He's in control and we'll come out on the other side victorious and stronger!

It's resting and having peace in the strong arms of our deliverer even while the storm is raging all around us.

It's believing the impossible because we trust God more than our circumstances.

It's stepping out onto the unown ledge of His will, fully surrendered, prepared to do whatever He desires of us, no matter how difficult or frightening it may be, because we trust that He will not lead us further than His anointing will take us.

It's believing God's Word, against all odds, even when the doctors have given up hope, your children appear to be going deeper down a dark path of destruction, everyone has turned their backs on you or you are broke and trusting Him to make ends meet.

Faith is the ability to take a step back when we get terrible news, refocus our eyes on Jesus and accepting the promises He paid for at Calvary.

It's not allowing our problems to obstruct our view of Christ, but as our focus is set on Him, the issues will become dim in the light of His Glory!!

It's having complete confidence that if He said it, He'll do it!!!

It's a fearless forward march into the enemy's camp, ready to fight and retrieve all that He has stolen! No longer intimidated by his lies but meditating on the Word, filled with the Spirit, endued with power and prepared for battle!!

Joshua 1:8-9 (NKJV) This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success. Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.”

Luke 24:49 (NKJV) Behold, I send the Promise of My Father upon you; but tarry in the city of Jerusalem until you are endued with power from on high.

Hebrews 11:1-2, 6 (KJV) Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. For by it the elders obtained a good testimony. But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.
