Consumed by His Glory
God desires to show forth His strength in the midst of our weakness. It's when we yield our lives completely, and trust Him beyond our limitations, that we can begin to accomplish things that would have never been possible in the natural. We must first enter His presence and allow the Holy Spirit to ravish our souls. As we find our delight in HIM, it becomes easy to surrender, no longer holding back in any area. We will become so consumed by His presence until His Holiness is more evident than our flawed humanity. Passionately pursuing the lover of our souls, no longer self conscious, but completely aware of His presence and desires!
As I show up, prepared for this encounter, I'm never disappointed. Lost in His embrace...overwhelmed by His glory...I weep in His presence....Stress? Fear? Anxiety? Broken heart? None can remain....only peace, joy, rest, acceptance, power, strength and complete trust as His love fills the room and floods over our souls!! Don't settle for anything less. If you haven't experienced it, go a little deeper ..draw a little closer...stay a little longer and begin to worship like never before. He is attracted to your praise and the time you sacrifice just for seeking Him!!
Deuteronomy 6:5 (NIV) Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength.
Psalm 36:5-10 (NKJV) Your mercy, O Lord, is in the heavens;Your faithfulness reaches to the clouds. Your righteousness is like the great mountains;Your judgments are a great deep; O Lord, You preserve man and beast. How precious is Your loving kindness, O God! Therefore the children of men put their trust under the shadow of Your wings. They are abundantly satisfied with the fullness of Your house, and You give them drink from the river of Your pleasures. For with You is the fountain of life;In Your light we see light. Oh, continue Your loving kindness to those who know You, and Your righteousness to the upright in heart.
James 4:8 (ESV) Draw near to God, and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded.
