Living in Peace

If you were to evaluate your life today, would you be confident in saying that your life leads others away from sin? What are your morals and standards? When someone invites you to do something that you morally disagree with, are you secure enough in your faith to decline the offer or will you give in to the offer in fear of what they may think?

I can promise you that if you are more concerned about what others think than about what God thinks, your life will not be as great as it could be. Christ shed His pure and innocent blood for you, for your healing and salvation, so you can enjoy the life you have. Living by the standards of others is not a way to live. Being concerned with the thoughts and opinions of someone who is not living for Jesus is not a good place to be. You must listen to the promptings of the Holy Spirit over the lies of the enemy on a daily basis. The enemy is not going to stop trying to get you to turn away from God. It may start out with something small but over time it will build and build until you realize that you are not living a life for Christ.

If you aren't living a life of peace, joy, and fulfillment, find someone who you can be accountable to. If you are still being tempted in certain areas, share that with someone who is strong in their faith that will pray daily for you and help you through the trials. We are a body of believers to be united as one, if one hurts, we all hurt. None of us want to see someone failing, we all want the enemy to take a run for his money, are you doing everything in your power to be victorious in your life or are you giving in to the lies of the enemy? Stand firm on your beliefs, live holy before the Lord and never settle for less than God's absolute best!

Philippians 1:9-10 (AMP) And this I pray, that your love may abound more and more [displaying itself in greater depth] in real knowledge and in practical insight, so that you may learn to recognize and treasure what is excellent [identifying the best, and distinguishing moral differences], and that you may be pure and blameless until the day of Christ [actually living lives that lead others away from sin].

Isaiah 59:19 (NKJV) When the enemy comes in like a flood, the Spirit of the Lord will lift up a standard against him.
