Trust Him, He's Got This!

As most of you know, we've had many struggles since we moved to the Gulf Coast. As I sit here on the beach with good friends and family, watching the sunset, it's not trouble I'm reminded of, but only the goodness of God! I feel so incredibly blessed!

You may be thinking that you don't have a beach and a beautiful view. All you can see is your problems. As beautiful as this sunset is... it's not what brings me joy and peace. To be honest with you, I've lived long enough to know that nothing in this life can satisfy me! I've been in the greatest of circumstances and completely miserable and I've faced the most difficult seasons with complete joy and peace!

Your fulfillment doesn't come from satisfying your next desire or from perfect conditions. It is fully dependent on the condition of your heart. It is really very simple... if your heart is fixed on God, filled with His Spirit and fully dependent on Jesus, regardless of what's happening on the outside, there will be complete peace on the inside. If your focus is on the problem, then the problem will hold your heart hostage and hopelessness and depression will soon follow.

Whatever you're facing today, give it to Jesus and stop carrying the weight of it. He paid the price for what troubles you and He's waiting for you to turn it over with full confidence that He will handle it in a way you never could!

Can't shut off your mind? Wash it in the pure living water of the Word of God! Take the time you would have spent worrying and put it into studying about what He has to say concerning your particular situation, then use those scriptures in your battle plan! Instead of dread you will be filled with immovable faith!

Trust Him! He's got this!!

1 Peter 5:7 (TPT) Pour out all your worries and stress upon him and leave them there, for he always tenderly cares for you.

Psalms 34:4-9 (NLT) I prayed to the LORD, and he answered me. He freed me from all my fears. Those who look to him for help will be radiant with joy; no shadow of shame will darken their faces. In my desperation I prayed, and the LORD listened; he saved me from all my troubles. For the angel of the LORD is a guard; he surrounds and defends all who fear him. Taste and see that the LORD is good. Oh, the joys of those who take refuge in him! Fear the LORD, you his godly people, for those who fear him will have all they need.

Ephesians 5:26 (TPT) To make us holy and pure, cleansing us through the showering of the pure water of the Word of God.

Proverbs 3:5-6 (NKJV) Trust in the LORD with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths.
