The Blood!

Exodus 12:13 And the blood shall be to you for a token upon the houses where ye are: and when I see the blood, I will pass over you, and the plague shall not be upon you to destroy you, when I smite the land of Egypt.

As the plague that brought death to the first born in every home swept through the land, the children of God were to sacrifice and place the blood of a perfect lamb, one without blemish, on the door posts of their homes. As the Spirit of the Lord came by, He passed over the homes that were covered by that blood.

I've been thinking about that a lot lately. The blood of a lamb brought such a significant difference between the Israelites and the Egyptians... It was the difference between life and death. A plague that brought horrific destruction had no power against the children of God! Think about it, it was the blood of a lamb! How much more does the perfect blood of Jesus bring us protection from the diseases that are plaguing the world!? We haven't believed big enough! The weapons of disease, poverty, pain, heartache and abuse have no ability to prosper under the blood of Jesus! Yes, they've been formed against us but they must fizzle out as we pray the prayer of uncompromising and immovable faith!

There is so much the blood of Jesus has provided and so many promises in the Word of God to stand upon in the face of your trial. It's time we begin to pray His Word with bold faith in believing that if He said it, He'll surely do it! When it's a written promise to His people we don't have to wonder if it's His will, just pray it, decree it and believe it!

It's time the world sees the stark difference between their darkness and the bright shining light that is within us! We are carriers of His Glory, power and love! It's time we believe it and share it by faith!

Luke 4:40 (NKJV) When the sun was setting, all those who had any that were sick with various diseases brought them to Him; and He laid His hands on every one of them and healed them.

2 Corinthians 1:20 (NKJV) For all the promises of God in Him are Yes, and in Him Amen, to the glory of God through us.

Revelations 12:11 (KJV) And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.
