Humility vs Insecurity & Shame

Humility is absolutely necessary in our Christian walk. We must realize that we are nothing without the work of the cross and we cannot produce anything of value without the anointing. The problem comes when we allow the enemy to convince us that we are worthless. He wants you to believe that you have done too many bad things to ever be loved or effective for God's Kingdom. He will try to compound your insecurity with guilt, shame and condemnation. If you believe his lies, you will be rendered paralyzed and ineffective. Why would he spend so much time trying to convince the Saints that they are second rate, causing them to compare their spirituality and gifts to that of others? It's because he knows your value! He knows that you have a Savior that paid the greatest price for your soul. He knows that if you one day realize just how special you are to your Father, you'll become a force to reckon with! You, filled with the Spirit of God, equipped with knowledge from His Word, knowing that you’re loved and full of faith...UNSTOPPABLE! I want you to realize today that even if you have not yet lived up to your Spiritual potential, God still loves you and He's drawing you unto Himself. Stop turning away from Him in shame. Repent of your sins and begin drawing closer to Him. As you remove your eyes from your struggles and weaknesses and begin to draw from His strength... you'll start moving forward into all that He has for you! Layer by layer, He'll help you deal with the issues and yes, He'll bring life changing conviction that will give you the desire to change, not guilt and condemnation that causes you to hide in fear. He's a good Father! He's calling us to holiness, purity and freedom from sin, but He's doing it out of love, not anger and hate. Seek Him and yield to His molding process. He loves you and wants to set you free, so that you can draw closer to Him and become the usable vessel of honor He's called you to be. You'll only find your peace in His presence and in the center of His will! John 3:16-17 (NKJV) For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. 2 Corinthians 7:1 (KJV) Having therefore these promises, dearly beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God. Psalm 103:13-14 (NLT) The Lord is like a father to His children, tender and compassionate to those who fear Him. For He knows how weak we are; He remembers we are only dust. Isaiah 55:6 (KJV) Seek ye the Lord while He may be found, call ye upon him while He is near: Isaiah 64:8 (ESV) But now, O Lord, you are our Father; we are the clay, and you are our potter; we are all the work of your hand.
