Holy Expectations

I just want to share a little bit about what is going on in my spirit right now. I feel an incredible, holy expectancy of what God is about to do in my life and ministry. I feel electrified! There's a stirring within my soul. He's drawing me closer than I've ever been, His love and presence are tangible. I'm consumed with a burning desire to worship, seek, and serve Him. He speaks of rivers of living waters and I feel them bubbling up and overflowing! Yes, there's a river that takes us into the deep places of His Spirit, but our God is also an all-consuming fire! One that burns the garbage out of our lives and has the power to set us ablaze for His Kingdom's sake! It's a wild fire that cannot be contained and it's embers burn bright and ignite those around us. 

You cannot remain in His presence and not be transformed by it. I realize that many tire of hearing me speak of the presence of Jesus and drawing close in the Secret Place, but I know a secret... I've lived long enough to realize that I can have the greatest family and blessings money can provide and still be miserable without Him or I can abide in Him, having nothing else and still be joyful and blessed. Our time with the Lord changes our perspective, but not necessarily our circumstances. It effects how we see and deal with the trial and we experience growth in the process. We can become content in any situation! 

The sole source of my peace comes from abiding in the presence of Jesus. No one can take that away! Oh, it doesn't come from an occasional visit, but only as we live our lives mindful of Him, fully surrendered and devoted. Placing Him first and seeking His direction with every decision...ABIDING... there's such great rest and comfort in that. Don't remain content with a long distance relationship with your Savior, but commit to go deeper as you search out His mysteries. 

No matter where you are in your relationship with Him, there are always deeper depths to experience. There is so much more He desires to reveal and changes He wants to make... He's calling you to come closer... close enough to be ignited by the Holy Spirit... close enough to realize He has something incredible planned for your life as well!! Everything you've been searching for can be experienced in His presence! It's life changing!

Hebrews 12:28-29 (NKJV) Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom which cannot be shaken, let us have grace, by which we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear. For our God is a consuming fire.

Mark 6:31-32 (WE) Jesus said to them, `Come away with me. Let us go alone to a quiet place and rest for a while.' Many people were coming and going. They could not even eat. So they went away in a boat to a lonely place by themselves.

John 7:38-39 (NKJV) He who believes in Me, as the Scripture has said, out of his heart will flow rivers of living water.

Jeremiah 20:9 (NKJV) Then I said, “I will not make mention of Him, nor speak anymore in His name.” But His word was in my heart like a burning fire shut up in my bones; I was weary of holding it back, and I could not.
