Decisions

As I came to the Lord today and asked what He wanted to say to His children…the only word I got was DECISIONS…

It’s interesting how His anointing works. I get a word and have no idea what He wants to say about it. I just start writing and allow Him to use me to share His heart…so let’s see where this is going…

Hmmm…DECISIONS…they are a part of our every day lives. From the fuel we feed our bodies to jobs, relationships and what we do with the time and money He’s given us.

We squander so much of our time and provision, as we make decisions to make our lives as comfortable and self gratifying as possible. The Word of God states that we are not our own. We were bought with the great price of the shed blood of Jesus. Though it set us free of the control of sin, hell and the manipulation of the enemy, it also purchased us for a divine purpose! It’s true, our life no longer belongs to us, but that doesn’t bring us into bondage, it’s quite the opposite, it frees us to get in line with the purpose we were created and designed for. There’s no fulfillment and peace in our own desires, just temporary pleasures that leads to a never ending lust for more.

Every decision we make must be bathed in prayer with a heart bent on pleasing our Creator and Savior. Just as an auto manufacturer knows what it takes to keep a car running at its full potential, so too does God and He sent the Holy Spirit to keep us on track, convicting, teaching and leading us on the course that leads to our destiny. We must seek Him and His owners manual for the necessary directions.

Regardless of the current world condition, we were born for such a time as this! What does that really mean or look like? We must go to God and ask Him to reveal what our role is and sincerely seek to know and fulfill His desires. You may not be equipped, qualified or feel you're deserving, but there’s no limit to what the Holy Spirit can do with a fully yielded vessel!

There’s no more time to waste on selfish decisions. Time is short and in the time we have left we need to make the greatest impact for His Kingdom! There’s a lost and dying world that desperately needs Jesus and they need us to reveal Him to them. Seeking the Lord, developing a relationship with Him, time in His Word and our growth process is all based on the conscious decisions we make. Will our time be wasted or spent making a difference by ministering the Gospel, revealing His love and spending time in prayer for the lost, broken, sick and dying? The decision is yours…

Matthew 7:21 (TPT) “Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter into heaven’s kingdom. It is only those who persist in doing the will of my heavenly Father."

Esther 4:14 (NKJV) For if you remain completely silent at this time, relief and deliverance will arise for the Jews from another place, but you and your father’s house will perish. Yet who knows whether you have come to the kingdom for such a time as this?

Psalm 90:12 (TPT) Help us to remember that our days are numbered, and help us to interpret our lives correctly. Set your wisdom deeply in our hearts so that we may accept your correction.

Psalm 139:16 (NLT) You saw me before I was born. Every day of my life was recorded in your book. Every moment was laid out before a single day had passed.

1 Corinthians 6:19-20 (TPT) Have you forgotten that your body is now the sacred temple of the Spirit of Holiness, who lives in you? You don’t belong to yourself any longer, for the gift of God, the Holy Spirit, lives inside your sanctuary. You were God’s expensive purchase, paid for with tears of blood, so by all means, then, use your body to bring glory to God!
