God's Incredible Love for You!
There was a day that, though I was a Christian, I struggled with the fact that God loved me. I would hear preachers talk about it and though I believed He was a God of love...I just didn't believe it was for me. The enemy had me convinced that His promises and favor was for everyone but me. As if it was only given to a special elite group that was good enough to deserve it.
The fact is, no one is good enough and certainly not Holy enough for Jesus to die for. Well actually... isn't that the reason He gave His life?
He's calling us deeper into His presence and as we yield to the Spirit, He's bringing about change. Yes, we are called to Holiness and purity, but that's the result of the relationship, not the condition for it. If we waited until we were good enough to approach the throne of God... none of us would ever move in that direction.
The enemy knows that if he can keep us paralyzed by our own insecurities, weaknesses, guilt and condemnation we'll never have the confidence to approach Jesus, much less pursue an intimate relationship with Him. He understands the threat that a sold out, fully yielded and incredibly devoted lover of Christ would be and if they realized just how precious they are to their Savior.... UNSTOPPABLE!
Once you get a realization of the incredible love of God... the love He has for you as an individual... you'll believe His promises and you'll never doubt that His Word was written just for you!
He has great plans for your life... plans that only you can fulfill, but it must start by the passionate pursuit of your Bride Groom and the unrelenting desire to know Him and to please Him. As you draw closer... you'll realize just how much you are wanted and loved! He's calling you to come close... stay a little longer in His presence and become completely ravished by His love!
Ephesians 2:4-5 (NKJV) But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved).
Song of Solomon 2:10-13 (TPT) The one I love calls to me: Arise, my dearest. Hurry, my darling. Come away with me! I have come as you have asked to draw you to my heart and lead you out. For now is the time, my beautiful one. 11 The season has changed, the bondage of your barren winter has ended, and the season of hiding is over and gone. The rains have soaked the earth and left it bright with blossoming flowers. The season for singing and pruning the vines has arrived. I hear the cooing of doves in our land, filling the air with songs to awaken you and guide you forth. Can you not discern this new day of destiny breaking forth around you? The early signs of my purposes and plans are bursting forth. The budding vines of new life are now blooming everywhere. The fragrance of their flowers whispers, “There is change in the air.” Arise, my love, my beautiful companion, and run with me to the higher place. For now is the time to arise and come away with me.
